I am light and color, I am fingers on keys, I am air in the wind, Arun baba, Aaron Pollitt
In mid summer 09 I was swept up by the mystic power of Baraka, by this wacky band of Babas. And I have been swimming deeper through this jet stream of inspired healing and mystic music ever since.
I am the bansuri player. Simple and beautiful, bamboo and wind. This gift was imparted to me by my father, who has for the past 40 years been collecting and plying traditional wood wind instruments from cultures all around the world. He has been patient and kind enough to share this with me.
More than this, my father and I share a love for sacred song, and we together are working on the project hymnosophy a space for all forms of sacred devotional music, from any culture or religion. For the love and unity felt through holy music. Be it a grand church choir, or a group of Kirtan-Reggae Sadhu Rastas.
I believe in unity, that we are all connected, that we are all one. I am a member of both Unitarian Universalist church and Unity Center for spiritual growth. I believe that life is full of amazing stories of gods, goddesses, heroes, kings, messiahs, saviors, and all these beautiful and inspiring stories are like maps to existence, and connection to divine.
I have set my focus upon the study, practice, and offer of inner growth, subconscious transformation, and self empowerment. Through the use of many different techniques. I hope to bring a greater feeling of inner peace, self understanding, fulfillment, and Self Empowerment to myself and those around me.
I study Holistic Healing Arts. I am a believer in the power of raw foods and the creation of a diverse and balanced microcosm both in my body and the world in which I live. For I am not one life, but made up of billions of life forms. It is through them that I feel interconnected with all around me, my Microcosm
I am working as an apprentice at the center for community empowerment in Jasper Indiana, where I am learning and offering many of the skills of holistic healing. indianacommunity.org
As well as being Permaculture Certified, I am trained in Wilderness Awareness, I am an activist and environmentalist. I feel a deep love and connection to that which is wild. Through my lifestyle I hope to show this love and respect.
More than anything, and what I believe to be my greatest gift is my: free spirited celebration of life and surrender to it.
